U-Pick Tulips

Experience the joy of hand-selecting your own tulips as you meander through our curated field of blooms. Our tulip season is brief, happening only during a few weeks in April and/or May, with Mother Nature dictating the precise timing. We've crafted this page to ensure you have the best experience possible by addressing any questions you may have. You can read our general guidelines by clicking here.

Picking Tulips

  • Grasp the stem close to the ground and gently wiggle to loosen the bulb before pulling straight up for a longer stem.

  • Please select flowers thoughtfully; once picked, do not return them to the ground. This can cause the tulip to die, leading to loss for us.

  • Bulbs are removed during wrapping as they're pulled prematurely and haven't developed sufficiently to bloom next year.
